I am ten.

There's Ambra, the kender. She likes sparkly things. And candy. *Don't* give her candy. Or coffee ice cream. No matter how much she begs. She's childlike and good at finding joy in everything.

There's Sapphire. She's a bard. And a were-cat. And a mystic. She likes solving puzzles, sitting in front of fires, and reading long involved novels. Also playing with string.

There's Nayena. She's human. And a fighter. She likes hitting stuff. That's about it.

There's Brin. She's a sweet, healer-type of person. Her herbalism is partially based off of her ability to brew really nasty tasting tea. She wants the best for everyone. Like Sapphire, she is a hopeless romantic. Much of this hopeless romanticism is directed at Rothwyn, to whom she is joined at the hip.

There's Vella. She's a little bit horny. She can do magic, but doesn't often. Oh, and she's good at getting what she wants. Her profession is being a secretary. Despite all of this, she's a very caring person. She mostly just flirts to make people feel comfortable . . . really. Mostly, she's interested in one specific guy . . . who sometimes plays hard to get. But enough about her.

There's Melanthe. She's a sidhe, always up to something, manipulates people for fun (and profit), is frighteningly creative, and wants everyone to love her.

There's Romilly. She's an andain, which is the child of a mortal and a god. She can turn into a cat and dabbles with necromancy. She's stubborn, afraid of nothing, and finds most things amusing. She's also capable of being patient and impatient by turns, completely in love (with a gorgeous archer who only gets to wake up once every hundred years), and (fortunately given that last fact) immortal.

There's Philomel. Philomel is a lot of things: baroness, Gwydion sidhe, tea-enthusiast, director, part-time adventurer, collector of cute glass figurines, slave of a cute cat (not Sapphire or Romilly). Her primary talent is getting people to do what she says. Her husband is good at enforcing what she says. He does this because she makes killer espresso.

There's Jarissa Amaranth, called "Jari" for short. She's a space-gypsy. And she fights with a shiny laser sword. She's married to Ralek Tanaka, who's got just as much wanderlust as she does, even if he is a member of one of the galaxy's three most important families. And added to all that she's psychic and obsessed with re-founding her clan.

Finally, there's Belegwen Lightningblade, half-elven warrior-mage. She's a little like all of them.

As for me, well, I'm me. They're just the facets, so don't go worrying that I need a psychologist. The girls are merely a way of observing and representing myself. Yay me.
